The Mayor was successful in keeping the Libyan president from setting up a Bedouin tent on the yard of the Libyan estate in Englewood, New Jersey and has since been a voice against the violence that Mr. Khadafi represents. The Mayor has called for elected officials to not forget who and what Khadafi represents and that Americans can not afford to barter their souls for oil when dealing with leaders like Khadafi.
