ENGLEWOOD, NJ – Groundbreaking will be held March 15, 2005 for an upscale retail complex with 50,000 square feet of shops and a 475 stall parking garage, as part of the South Dean Street Redevelopment Project.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the City of Englewood,” said Susan Noddle Levine, Vice President of Noddle Companies, the developer of the project headquartered in Omaha, NE and New York City, NY. “Shoppes on Dean,” will be built at the corner of South Dean Street and Englewood Avenue, in the heart of the community.

The parking garage will be owned and managed by the City of Englewood. The retail portion will include 50,000 square feet of stores on two levels.

“The entire project should be completed this fall,” said Scott Bannett, President of The Bannett Group the projects architect and contractor. The Bannett Group, Ltd., is a leading design/build and construction management firm headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ. “We designed it to complement the surrounding buildings and to provide an inviting setting for residents and visitors to enjoy.”

Mayor Michael J. Wildes of Englewood states, “Englewood’s central business district has received numerous awards and has remarkable development potential. I enthusiastically invite everyone to join us in the ground breaking. Thanks to Noddle Companies and The Bannett Group, Ltd. for their outstanding professionalism. If they build it, they will come. This wouldn’t be true in Englewood without the design/build and development of this exciting parking and retail project.”
