Michael Wildes Sponsors Fundraiser

to Further Senator Lieberman's Efforts.

Englewood,  New Jersey Mayor Michael Wildes, WWGW founder Leon Wildes, and New Jersey U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg share a moment. Wildes hosted a highly successful fundraiser, which raised over $40,000 for Lieberman's ROCPAC on September 23rd.

New York, New York -- Manhattan Immigration Attorney and Englewood New Jersey Mayor Michael J. Wildes hosted a $1,000 per person fundraiser that brought in over $40,000 for U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman's ROCPAC on September 23rd.  Lieberman, widely considered a potential Presidential candidate in 2004, formed the PAC to support Democratic candidates throughout the United States. 

Wildes introduced Lieberman to those in attendance, the Senator described Wildes as a raising star in the Democratic Party, who would likely himself “be serving in Washington at some point in the future.”

The fundraiser brought together many prominent leaders from politics, government, and the legal  community; as well as Senator Lieberman's wife, Hadassah, daughter, Rebecca, and brother-in-law Ary Freilich.

Officials and dignitaries at the event included, U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ); U.S. Congressman Joseph Crowley (D-NY); Dr. Avi Becker, Secretary General of the World Jewish Congress; Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice-Chairman-Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organization and former United States Attorney Andrew Maloney.

Wildes' father and law partner, Leon Wildes, said he was “proud” of his son's “commitment to public service".
