We would like to make our service available to low and moderate-income families sometime in March of 2004. We are currently in search of a building to house our program. The slated time of operation is Monday through Friday, 3:00 to 10:00 PM . Family Teen Center, Inc. is dedicated and committed to providing a productive and structured after-school performing arts program for teenagers in Englewood . Our goal is to guide and motivate teens of Englewood to become successful adults. The many services Family Teen Center, Inc. will provide are as follows;

•  Performing arts classes, dance, drama, vocal, and exercise.

•  Career counseling with available hand-out material from colleges, business, and trade schools.

•  Self-esteem workshops and Conflict Resolution Counseling.

•  Computer Lab, with compatible software.

•  Reference Room to help complete homework and study assignments.

•  Mini-film room for teens to critique new films, documentaries, and edit monthly cable programs.

•  Teen Produced Cable Program. 6-8 Week hands-on training program through Time Warner sponsored by Family Teen Center, Inc. to include a rotating schedule of Teen Host and Co-Host.

The cable show will air on various Public Access channels. The cable program will act as a window for the community to view teen progress. Our common goal for the cable program is to promote teen involvement and community awareness, by highlighting the center's upcoming events and daily teen contributions. We have qualified and creditable people who are dedicated to helping us make this project a success. However, we can not do it without the help of the community.

I urge you to get involved, help Family Teen Center, Inc. help teens to make a difference! GET OUR TEENS OFF THE STREETS, and into a productive program. Family Teen Center, Inc. looks forward to your suggestions, support, and donations. Thank you for your time and attention.
