Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes hosted the 8th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Service at the Englewood Public Library last Friday, September 11th, 2009. A memorial garden was established by Mayor Wildes in 2004 that contains engraved stones honoring each of the eight victims from the community who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
A park bench was also donated by the Andrew Kim Foundation in 2007 dedicated to the memory of Andrew Kim and others in our community who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and who will be forever remembered in our hearts.
